I couldn't be happier with the level of service Mike and Mary gave me when selling my home.  This was the first time I've sold a home, and I went into it with a lot of trepidation. After interviewing a number of selling agents, I met with Mary who instantly exuded confidence, which really put my wife and me at ease. Also, unlike other selling agents, Mary easily understood the market and was able to recommend a fair selling price. More specifically, she really understood the Woodbury housing market and the premium that this neighborhood gives. Whereas other agents were pricing the home at Irvine and surrounding area pricing, Mary priced our home with the premium included.  I expected the home to stay on the market for a couple of months but Mary had a buyer in TWO DAYS, at very close to our asking price. During the escrow process both Mike and Mary were constantly at it with the escrow company, helping to push things along and to make sure all deadlines were met.

I've relied on yelp for finding things, but was motivated to sign up and get an account because I wanted to provide information on Mike and Mary.  Certain circumstances made it so I had to sell my home in a short time frame.  I interviewed several realtors that specialized in the area that I lived, and Mike and Mary impressed me with their professionalism and seemed to go above and beyond even for the initial meeting.  During the process of getting my home ready for sale, they were prepared with suggestions and referred me to painters, carpet cleaners, etc that were reasonable and reliable.  I wasn't able to take time off work during many days, and Mike and Mary were there to let the contractors in the house and even checked their work before they left.  They kept me informed during every step of the process, even when there were no new developments.  I had a home that was tough to sell due to litigation between the HOA and builder--many lenders hesitated to fund loans due to this--but Mike and Mary were persistent and continued to work hard to sell my home.  I have already recommended them to friends who are going to sell their home, and plan to use them myself when I purchase my next home.

M&M weren't my first choice as I had met another realtor that specialized in Woodbury.  I was on the brink of signing when there was a provision that the realtor, understandably, did not want to agree to.  That provision was essentially a guarantee that I would be entitled to an "x" amount after closing.  Although my demand was reasonable, the realtor did not feel comfortable and I had no choice but to seek other realtors.  I then met with Mary and from the onset, she was nothing but a pure professional.  M&M understood my concerns and was confident enough to insert the "guarantee" provision in our agreement.  Thus, both sides took a leap of faith and the rest is history.  M&M only had to host two open houses and were able to quickly obtain an offer for us.  The offer came within 2 weeks of listing during a time where inventory wasn't exactly scarce.  They then negotiated hard and was able to obtain even more than my "guarantee" amount.  They were also able to get a final price that was higher than a comparable property.  My wife and I strongly recommend M&M if you want to sell your house fast in this competitive market.  Plus, they did a great job in marketing our place and even staging it.  Kudos to M&M!

Mike and Mary were fantastic!  After doing some research and seeing that they had the best statistics and records for selling homes in our neighborhood (Woodbury), we called them when we started to think about selling our home.  Mike came over for our first visit and was ready with a portfolio of recent comparative home sales in the neighborhood and walked us through the process of identifying the best asking price.  Within less than 24 hours of putting our house on the market, we had several offers, and by the time we took our house off the market four days later, we had received six offers, half of which were cash offers over asking price.  Mike and Mary took care of all of the details of the sale-- the showings, paperwork, counteroffers, coordinating inspections, coordinating with our realtor in the city where we will be moving next, and even the final cleaning before closing-- ultimately making selling our house a much easier, faster, and more profitable experience than we could have imagined.  If you're thinking of selling a home in Irvine, especially in the Woodbury area, you won't find a better realtor team than Mike & Mary!
